Susan Cooke, Children's House Team Member

Susan grew up the daughter of a Boston engineer & teacher, and as a little sister to three big brothers who love to sail. She first came to Sandwich as a young girl collecting Thornton Burgess cup plates, cooking home-grown apples, keeping a bug box, raking big leaf piles to jump in, hunting for Craigville Beach sand dollars and learning to play golf on the Cape. Susan is dedicated to teaching & learning, ever since graduating from college in NYC and leading her first classroom in Japan. Currently completing her Montessori Children's House certification, Susan is inspired by the children at Sandwich Montessori School who love to share stories, do puzzles, swing to a rhythm, and play outside.
