We’re expanding our Sandwich Montessori School community and we’re looking for experienced educators to join our team!
Who We Are
Set on a beautiful, 2-acre campus on Cape Cod, MA, Sandwich Montessori School merges traditional Montessori with nature-based education. Children and staff spend ample time outdoors, in all weather, and use nature as a means to enhance the learning experience for children. Our educators share a common goal to guide children in way that fosters independence and develops smarter, kinder, braver future leaders.
Founded in 1998 and family owned, Sandwich Montessori School serves learners 15 months through 12 years, with a growth plan to serve community needs for children birth to 18 years. Our ideal families are looking for a premier educational experience with highly trained and professional staff members, and are committed to being an integral part of their child’s learning.
Our intimate, nature-based program offers teachers and families a supportive community and welcoming environment. We focus on building our team through connection, professional development, and self-reflection.
Who We Are Looking For
We'd love to talk with you if you possess:
- A love for outdoor and nature-based learning
- The desire to work at a growing school, where each team member has the opportunity to make a significant impact on the program and community
- The desire to spark joy for learning in young children
- A passion for getting education right through the Montessori pedagogy
We will prefer you over other candidates if you have:
- 1+ years experience in a Montessori classroom
- The mindset that we are part of a family’s “village” and understand the importance of building loyalty within the caregiver community

About Sandwich, MA
Sandwich is rich in history and was settled in 1637. It is the first town you see when you cross over the Cape Cod Canal on the Sagamore bridge and the last town you see before leaving. Sandwich has miles of coast line along its four ocean beaches, three fresh water beaches, conservation lands, hiking and biking trails. It’s a great place to live and work for its outdoor and indoor spots including great restaurants, quaint shops and antique galleries.
