Serena Byrne, Assistant Guide/Teacher

Sarena joined the SMS community in May of 2023, returning to the field after a few years working in tech. She began her career in early childhood education in 2014 

 
Sarena is passionate about supporting the growing minds of children as they explore the world and their own passions. The Montessori philosophy deeply resonates with her as she aims to foster each individual child’s developmental needs and interests. With her tech background is also interested in finding ways to introduce STEM principals to our students within the Montessori framework. Sarena is EEC certified from infancy through preschool. 

In her free time Sarena loves exploring the beauty of Cape Cod, spending time with friends and family, and developing new gluten free baking recipes.
